1st Halloween!

Anderson was blessed and the primary program was today. It was the first time that as Primary President I have put on the program. AND it was Parker's first time being in the program. He did great talking into the microphone even if you couldn't understand every word he said. The spirit was totally there!!

Grandma and Grandpa Miller, Uncle Jonathon, Grandma and Grandpa Steffen, and John-Mike came up for our special day. :)

John-Mike's car broke down in the parking lot and Paul was going to jump it. He pulled his car on the grass and totally got stuck in the mud. Luckily Roy was able to pull him out!!! We called AAA for John-Mike's car to be towed home. He stayed to watch the Bills game and then Brian brought him home. :) It was an exciting but good day!!

Parker turns F-O-U-R

Dear Parker,

Four years ago- on October 18th at 6:38pm, through some unexpected turn of events- I became a mom. The exact moment you took your first breath- my life, and my priorities forever changed. I am so lucky that you chose me to be your mom.

Everyday I count my blessings.

I look forward to watching you grow and learn.

Anderson is such a smiley baby!! He goes from smirking to full out face smiles in seconds. He's such a content and happy baby. I am honestly the luckiest mom in the world.

First Day to Church

October 9th was also Anderson's first day to church! :) He looked adorable.

Happy 50th Birthday, Mom!!

50 years ago my mom entered the world. When my dad turned 50 she threw him a surprise party. My sister, dad, and I were trying to plan one for Columbus day weekend but mom wanted to go camping... so, plans changed and we brought a "party" to her. Heather drove all the way out to Jellystone to surprise her!! We had a blast putting 50 candles on her cupcakes!! :)

We went and visited Grandma and Papa Miller while they were camping at Jellystone for Columbus day. They always have a little Halloween thing early and so Parker and Carter got to go trick-or-treating.

Anderson was a big hit to the neighboring campers and a little girl came over to admire him a bunch of times. Anderson got a lot of lovin' from the Millers while we were there. I think he and Papa were having some intense conversation, don't you?

We went to a local farm market to get our pumpkins. We went out to dinner as a family of five for the first time after. Things went surprisingly well.

Parker was so proud of his choice.
