"I have learned that the three most loving words are “I love you,” and the four most caring words for those we love are “We can’t afford it.” "
Elder Robert D. Hales stated this during General Conference this year. It has stuck with me since April. This past Sunday we had Stake Conference and it was broadcasted from Salt Lake City. Elder Hales addressed us again. He restated this simple phrase and again it struck a cord.
I want to challenge all of us to keep our spending in perspective. I know there are things we want, but we have to ask ourselves "can we really afford it?".

this is a very good "thought". Thank you for posting this subtle reminder!
